Since formation in 1998 Southern IT Ltd has specialised in creating user-friendly interfaces between the latest technology and real life commercial applications. The company creates software that makes a demonstrable benefit to our clients' businesses.

Our first software project and, in 1998, one of the very first Internet property websites was The Virtual Estate Agent. Now an on-line solution for estate agents The Virtual Estate Agent is used in France, Monaco, Spain, Italy and Cyprus, as well as in the UK.

The company has relationships with, and has sold its software products either directly or through resellers to many of the largest civil engineering projects in the UK, the USA, (New York Metro and Washington Department of Transport), Ireland (Dublin Port Authority), The Netherlands (North-South Railway line), Korea (Seoul subway), Australia, Turkey, France, Spain, Cyprus, Italy, Morocco, Iran and Georgia. This list of projects and countries is constantly growing.
